Truemen Academy (TA) offers 5 free scholarships for students to do our Recruiters Course. This will be offered to those of you who pass the test that will be given online.
This scholarship scheme is only offered on a college participaton basis, and not on an individual basis. If your college is participating, they will be in the list of colleges in the registraton form. If you want to register seperately, you can go to the student registration on the Recruiters Course link in the home page.

What is the course about? The course is online, but very unlike a normal online course. It has a large component of simulations, not available anywhere in the world at present. What are simulations? We are all familiar with pilot simulations where a pilot is trained to fly a plane with a flight simulator on the ground. This is the closest experience he will get to fly a plane. Our simulations use the same concept. we try and ensure that you get a real life experience in some areas of recruitment which will help you in your career at a later date.

Why do I need a recruiters course if I am in Marketing or Finance? At some stage in your career, you will need to recruit. If you are a Finance Manager, you will need to recruit a finance team at a later date. If you are a Marketing manager, you will need to recruit executives. If you are an HR Manager, recruitment will be automatically part of your career path.

Will this course help me in my career? Today you need a differentiator. There are thousands of students like you, and an employer needs to see something different to make a decision to hire you or not. There are many cases of Finance students taking part in Marketing competitions (example the Nissan Student Brand Manager) to show that they have different skills.

But another course? This is not an academic course, but a business online training course. It is similar to the training courses that Companies send their employees for. The only difference being that it is tailored for new Recruiters.

How long is the course? The course has lectures, case studies, case study exams, lecture exams and simulations. It will take you at least 30 hours to complete. You could do it faster, and you could do it longer, but at the end, you will understand recruitment enough to be job ready.
